SYNC Connect with Wi-Fi Hotspot lets you stay connected on the go. For select 2018 and newer vehicles, SYNC Connect is equipped with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot that allows up to 10 devices to connect at once, so you and your passengers can stay in touch wherever you roam.
If you have purchased a select 2018 or newer SYNC Connect with Wi-Fi Hotspot-equipped vehicle, you can take advantage of a complimentary wireless data trial that expires at the end of 3 months or after 3GB of data is used, whichever comes first. After your trial is complete, stay connected while on the roam by signing up for a data plan with AT&T.

CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in the car. CarPlay takes the things you want to do with your iPhone while driving and puts them right on your car’s built-in display. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music, all in a way that allows you to stay focused on the road. Just connect your iPhone and go. CarPlay features Siri voice control and is specially designed for driving scenarios. CarPlay also works with your car’s controls — knobs, buttons, touchpad or touchscreen. And the apps themselves have been reimagined for the car, so you can use them while your eyes and hands stay where they belong.

Android Auto helps you control some apps from your smartphone using the touchscreen. You can also talk to Google™ using the voice command button on your steering wheel. Once you’re connected, you’ll access apps that can help you make calls, listen and reply to text messages, and play your music and podcasts. Google Maps also provides voice-activated navigation, live traffic information, and estimated travel time. When you use Android Auto, you may potentially use your own data plan when accessing apps and features, such as Google Maps and others. Data usage varies by smartphone.
